How to choose the right toothbrush?

Are you using the right toothbrush? Many people choose their toothbrush more out of habit or appearance, but the wrong choice can lead to gum irritation, plaque build-up and cavities Yet all you need to do is follow a few simple rules to choose the right one.

The softer the better! Soft bristles gently and effectively remove plaque. Bristles that are too hard can cause gum irritation and sensitivity with prolonged use.

Choose a toothbrush with straight-cut and dense bristles.. Thanks to their even length, they cover the surface of the teeth more effectively and thoroughly remove plaque.

The smaller head, ideally up to 2.5 cm (0.984 inches), allows you to reach hard-to-reach places such as molars or the back of teeth more easily

Extra Tip: You should change your toothbrush at least every 2-3 months or when the bristles start to fray. A worn out toothbrush does not clean effectively and can accumulate more bacteria.
